Pairing professional artists with students

Started in 2016, this program is focused on pairing professional artists with students in Title-1 schools in the Brazos Valley. The artists chosen to participate in the program provide workshops with hands-on activities, centered around TEKS. The artists also provide Q&A with the students and discuss life as a paid/professional artist. Artist Connect aims to expose participating students to more expansive and various art forms they may not have access to and encourage them to take advantage of these artistic opportunities.
